How to Add an indivdual contact to a Group

As with any tutorial it is always recommended to read through the tutorial first, and then perform the steps of the tutorial.

 

 

In this tutorial, we will add an existing contact to a group

 

 

1.Select menu Group -> select the group Business Contacts

2.Note how there are no contacts listed as members of this group in the pick list

3.Select menu Group -> select the group <All Contacts>

4.Select the contact Niko from the pick list if not already displaying

5.Select the Group Membership tab for that contact

6.Make this contact a member of the Business Contacts group by using your mouse to click on the checkbox to the right of the group name Business Contacts

7.Now select menu Group -> select the group Business Contacts

8.Drop down the list of contacts in this group - this contact is now a member of this group

9.Select menu Group -> select the group <All contacts> again

10.Select the same contact again

11.Now select the Groups tab again for this contact

12.Click on the checkmark to the left of the group name xxxx so that the checkmark is removed

13.Now select menu Group -> select the group Business Contacts again

 

14.Drop down the list of contacts in this group - this contact is no longer a member of this group

HINT: You may have to use the Refresh button if using Addressinator! in a network environment where other users are making group changes.
