As with any tutorial – it is always recommended to read through the tutorial first, and then perform the steps of the tutorial.
In this tutorial, we will create new users, set their rights to be able to read/write/delete the Addressinator! data, and set their login name and password.
NOTE: this tutorial will only be able to be performed if you have licensed Addressinator! for multi-user network license, as Users are not applicable in stand-alone single use.
You may want to add search results to a group, so that you can easily export all contacts of that group or print all contacts of that group.
| 1. | Log into Addressinator! as the Addressinator Administrator |
| a. | default username is "manager" with password "letmein" (without quotation marks and lowercase) |

| 2. | Select menu File -> Settings -> Users |

| 4. | Enter in the user's first name and last name |

| 5. | For Access, select the type of access to the contacts you want this user to have |
| a. | If you want the user to only be able to view the data and not make any changes or add new contacts, select ReadOnly |
| b. | If you want the user to be able to view the data, and create new contacts, select Read/Write |
| c. | If you want the user to be able to view the data, create new contacts and delete existing contacts, select Read/Write/Delete |
| 6. | Click on the Set login and password, and enter in a login name for this user and a password. |
| a. | Don't forget to make a note of the username and password to give to the user. |

| 7. | Select OK when finished, and OK on the new user screen. |
| 8. | You can now drop down the list of users, and see that the new user you just created is in the list. |
