As with any tutorial – it is always recommended to read through the tutorial first, and then perform the steps of the tutorial.
In this tutorial we will customize the text used to identify a field
| 1. | Select a contact from the drop down list |
| 2. | Place your mouse over the text label Birthday and right-click to bring up the Customize option for this label |

| 3. | Click on the Customize option |


| 4. | You can change what type of data is entered into this field by selecting from the Type list |

| 5. | In this tutorial, we will keep the Type as a DateTime type as we want to show the date this person was hired to the company |
| 6. | Type in the Prompt field Hired Date, enter in an additional description of what this field will be for, and select OK |

| 7. | Label will now show with the customize label name you gave it |

Note: this field customization affects all contacts
