As with any tutorial – it is always recommended to read through the tutorial first, and then perform the steps of the tutorial.
In this tutorial, we will email contacts of a specific group. For example, you may want to contact all of your contacts in a group that are family members to tell them about your new job.
| 1. | First you want to make sure that your email settings are set up |
| a. | select menu File -> Settings -> Email Settings |

| b. | enter in your email address into the Your Email Address field |
| c. | Most email programs separate multiple email addresses by comma, leave as a comma unless you know for sure your email program requires something else |
| d. | some email programs (or your ISP) have a maximum number of email addresses that one email message can be sent to. Enter in the maximum in the field |

| a. | And drop down the list of groups and select the group you wish to send email to all of its contacts |

(the list of groups you may have will be different of course)
| 3. | Now select menu Group, and select Email Current Contacts |

| 4. | Select whether you want all email addresses entered into the BCC (blind carbon copy) or CC (carbon copy), or the other options to paste manually where needed |
| 6. | If selected either "My email program as BCC recipients" or "My email program as CC recipients", your local default email program will start, and your email address from 1.b above will be placed in the To: field, and all email addresses from contacts in the group selected will be placed in either the BCC or CC field. |
| a. | Your email address from 1.b is placed in the To: field because at least one email address must be viewable |

| 7. | Enter in your email message as normal and send. |
